Background subagents in Claude Code now use less of your usage limit. A running subagent updates its status line every 30 seconds, and each update used to re-read its whole conversation. Now Haiku 5.5 writes it from short notes instead, so each update costs about 99% less.

Jesus teaches how to cast out demons the disciples of Jesus had failed to cast out a single demon from a child. Jesus cast it out and then told them why they failed "Because you have so little faith," He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20 This verse many people quote, "faith the size of a mustard seed," is really a verse about casting out demons. It's simple, when rebuking a demon it's about faith. He uses the metaphor of moving a mountain. Moving a mountain is the power of your prayer. When you pray, you can actually imagine a mountain being moved by the power of your prayer. That's the amount of power your prayer is to have when casting out a demon. Then there's the mustard seed. Jesus said the disciples couldn't because their faith was too little. Then he says the faith required is little. Is this a contradiction? It's not. It's the secret and the key to this kind of prayer. The power of the prayer is one that can move a physical mountain. But the faith required to do so, the size being small, is the quality of your confidence when doing so. Having a lot of faith by not needing much faith to move a mountain means that you're not trying too hard. You're not exerting much energy. If faith was energy, when Jesus says your faith is too little they'd assume you'd need the faith size of a mountain. But Jesus says the opposite. He said the size of your faith needed is tiny, but the power of your faith needed is one that moves a physical mountain. Why, because not needing much energy, but believing your prayer is that powerful is great faith. When you pray believing God will act with the power of moving a mounting, but needing only a small amount of faith to do so, is a type of faith that comes from confidence. You have to pray with confidence, not requiring massive amounts of energy, not trying too hard, yet believing your rebuke in the name of Jesus has mountain level power. The last piece is telling the demon to "move from here to there." When rebuking a demon, you have to tell it where you're sending it

Pennsylvania is split in half by two gas stations, and this February they finally met face to face. West side of the state, it's Sheetz. East side, around Philly, it's Wawa. People will argue about this at weddings. In Japan we had a battle like this in 1600. Sekigahara. East against West. It decided who ran the country for the next 260 years. So when I heard Sheetz was opening its first store in the Philly suburbs, right across the road from a Wawa, I had to be there. Limerick, Pennsylvania. February 12. Eight in the morning. Here's how the battle went. The Sheetz gave away free coffee. The Wawa across the street also gave away free coffee. A county commissioner gave a speech at the Sheetz grand opening wearing a Wawa hat. The very first guy in line told everybody he was a diehard Wawa fan. I didn't know which side to stand on. So I did what a samurai does when he owes loyalty to two houses. I got one coffee from each. And I drank them both, one in each hand, taking turns, so nobody would feel betrayed. Nobody asked what I was doing. A man in a Steelers jacket watched me for a while and nodded, like that was the correct way to handle it. "Smart. Sheetz for the made-to-order, Wawa for the hoagie. Don't let anybody tell you different." Then he lifted his cup at both buildings. "Here's the thing, buddy. In most states, gas station food is something you dare your friends to eat. Here we got two of 'em good enough to fight over."

translation: there’s no culture that can separate you from Jesus even though cultures appear different, people who follow Jesus become like Jesus Jesus brings out the good aspects of any culture so that more people can know the gospel and be saved
Faith can be embodied in all cultures, because it does not identify itself with any of them in a specific one. It dwells within them, shaping them from within according to the “form” of Jesus Christ; that is, through charity, service and the filial recognition of God’s fatherhood. In this way, the Church draws from the various cultures all that is good, beautiful and true, in order to embody and transmit the message of the Gospel. #GeneralAudience

Written account of Jesus rising from the dead identified in 2,000-year-old manuscript, study suggests trib.al/XFIwGJj
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This research compares later Greek, Latin, Arabic and Syriac copies to reconstruct what Josephus may have written around AD 93–94; it did not identify an account in a 2,000-year-old physical manuscript. joe.co.uk/news/ancient-j… wsjfreeexpression.substack.com/p/unlocking-th…
