moontail friendship is so underrated. i feel like there's lots of instances where they feel excluded by prongsfoot. they understand eachother in that regard, but if push came to shove, peter is siding with james & sirius when it matters, which makes them sm more interesting

i feel like remus and peter side with james for completely different reasons as well. i think until peter starts resenting them, he idolizes james & sirius a lot and wants to follow after them for that reason. i think with remus a lot of it stems from wanting to maintain

what they already have and not wanting to go through the trouble that is fighting BOTH james & sirius on something they agree on. it's just easier for him to go along with them and he wouldn't speak up much anyways
