This week, the Massachusetts House of Representatives unanimously passed the HERO Act, a significant piece of legislation that will greatly enhance the support and services for veterans and their families in Massachusetts.
This transformative act expands the definition of a veteran, increases tax credits and state benefits, and modernizes the services upon which veterans rely. These changes will positively impact hundreds of thousands of veterans across the Commonwealth, ensuring they receive the recognition and support they deserve.
The unanimous vote demonstrates a collective commitment to honoring those who have served with courage and sacrifice. Together, we ensure that veterans and their families receive the benefits and respect they deserve.
