7 months ago, AOC and I introduced an AI data center moratorium.
Last night, 43 of 44 communities voted for one locally.
Americans don’t want Big Tech oligarchs wrecking the environment, gutting jobs and threatening humanity’s future.

Last night, voters here in Central Jersey and around the country sent a clear message:
We reject hate and division.
We stand with our neighbors.
We reject a violent, reckless foreign policy.
We demand an economy where if you work hard, you can do well.
Where the economy works for working people, not just the billionaires.
It has been one of the great honors of my life to serve you these past 12 years. When I was elected, I was the first Black woman to represent New Jersey in Congress.
Tonight, the 12th District carries on that legacy, breaking another barrier and sending the first Muslim to Congress in state history.
And so, it is my distinct honor to pass the torch to Dr. Adam Hamawy, the next Congressman from New Jersey’s 12th District.

Microplastics are poisoning our water, our earth, and our bodies. This bill will ensure that our children and grandchildren have the healthy and safe environment they deserve.

I voted against the Graham bill because it gave Trump too much power to sidestep sanctions against Russia. This weekend he did exactly that.
Trump is betraying our country AND our allies.
Breaking News: President Trump signed an executive order to exempt Russia from new sanctions legislation that Congress passed last month. nyti.ms/4zDoByS

When the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 came before the Rules Committee, I offered Rep. Meeks’s amendment to block President Trump from waiving Russian sanctions. My Republican colleagues voted against it.
On Friday, President Trump did exactly that: issuing an EO that exempts Russia from the new sanctions passed by Congress last month, a dangerous decision that puts our allies at risk.
My District Office has been closed for the day after we received a suspicious package. If you need to reach my team please call my D.C. office.
We will resume regular hours on Monday.
