The One Big, Beautiful Bill is one big, beautiful win for the American people.
"...we have a chance to seize on a generational opportunity to help put more Americans back on the path to the American Dream."
Watch Chairman @RepWalberg's remarks from the House Floor earlier this morning in support of the One Big, Beautiful Bill ⤵️

It was great to meet Adrian College's president-elect, Dr. Tony Coumoundouros, and hear about his vision for the college.
I look forward to working with him to ensure that students learn the skills necessary to succeed.

Republicans: delivered the MOST SECURE BORDER in HISTORY.
Extreme Radical Democrats: want to reopen border and allow criminal illegal aliens back into our country, costing American families their safety and $527 billion in taxpayer dollars over the next 10 years.
During the Biden-Harris administration, fentanyl poured into our communities at alarming rates, leaving families across the country devastated by the loss of loved ones.
@HouseGOP passed and @POTUS signed into law the HALT Fentanyl Act to provide law enforcement with the tools they need to keep Americans safe from these lethal substances.
Parents know what is best for their child's education.
I will continue to lead efforts to restore parental control throughout our nation's education system.
Thanks to @HouseGOP, nearly 90% of seniors are paying no taxes on their Social Security.
Reading scores have been plummeting nationwide. It is past time we reject failed fads, raise standards, and ensure every child gains the skills essential to be successful.
Proud to usher through the House the Science of Reading Act to improve literacy rates.
The historic 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act lowers housing costs and helps more families achieve the American Dream of homeownership.
By reducing burdensome regulatory barriers to new home construction, allowing banks to freely deploy funding, and modernizing HUD programs, we will expand the housing supply for Michigan families.
Washington should make life easier for hardworking Michigan families, not harder.
That's why, @HouseGOP passed the Working Families Tax Cuts to deliver the largest tax refund season in American history and provide real economic relief to Michigan families.

I was glad to visit Chipotle in Adrian and hear how Republican policies are empowering Michigan workers.
Policies like no tax on tips are supporting workers, like those at Chipotle, and helping them keep more of their hard-earned money.

Touring FEDCO's Monroe facility with Secretary @Sonderling47 was a great opportunity to see American manufacturing growth in our backyard.
FEDCO is expanding its footprint with a $23 million expansion, which will create good-paying jobs in Monroe. This growth is possible due to policies that are providing businesses with the certainty they need to invest in America's future. We must continue to work together to support Made-in-Michigan manufacturing!

A win in the fight against human trafficking.
President Trump signed Chairman @RepWalberg’s bipartisan bill into law, helping frontline @USDOL employees recognize the signs of trafficking and identify people who need help.

Radical indoctrination instead of reading, writing, and math.
Committee Republicans’ investigation exposed how K-12 schools pushed political activism, promoted antisemitic narratives, and kept parents in the dark about classroom materials.
Parents send their children to school to learn—not to be indoctrinated.

Great to tour TWB Company in Monroe with Secretary @Sonderling47 and see firsthand how the company is helping drive America’s manufacturing renaissance and provide jobs and opportunities to families across multiple generations.
Pro-growth policies like the Working Families Tax Cuts are strengthening domestic manufacturing, supporting good-paying jobs, and creating more opportunities for Michigan families.
Human trafficking continues to devastate communities across Michigan, exploiting children and vulnerable individuals.
I’m proud to see my bipartisan legislation, the Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act, be signed into law. I introduced this critical legislation with @RepLucyMcBath to give Department of Labor employees the tools and training needed to identify trafficking and help bring perpetrators to justice.

My office has been in contact with the EPA and local officials after last night's hazardous material spill in Toledo, Ohio that is affecting communities in Monroe County, and I am continuing to monitor the situation. At this time, the EPA has established a 3-mile shelter-in-place order to protect the health of nearby communities.
