Les copains de @rerun_build viennent de passer en Open-Source! Une plateforme d'agents IA self-hostable, en TypeScript, sous AGPL. Voilà comment c'est construit.
Un conteneur Docker par workspace. Dedans, un seul process Node fait tourner tous les agents et les expose en HTTP. La boucle repose sur le Vercel AI SDK : l'agent enchaîne les appels d'outils sans plafond d'étapes, et s'arrête dès qu'il doit te poser une question ou te demander une validation.
Chaque agent est un dossier qu'on peut lire : SOUL.md pour la personnalité, config.json, un .env pour ses clés, ses skills en SKILL.md, ses souvenirs en fichiers .md. La base libSQL ne sert qu'aux transcripts et à l'index de recherche. Tu ouvres le dossier et tu vois tout ce que l'agent sait.
Côté mémoire, la recherche est hybride : vecteurs + full-text. Après chaque run, un curateur relit l'échange et décide s'il faut créer, mettre à jour ou supprimer un souvenir. Tout ce qui décrit une façon de travailler part dans les skills, pas dans la mémoire.
Et les souvenirs s'effacent avec le temps : demi-vie de 90 jours pour une préférence, 3 jours pour une tâche, et elle s'allonge à chaque fois que le souvenir est rappelé.
Chaque agent a aussi son propre écran : un bureau virtuel Linux (Xvfb, xdotool) et un Chromium patché avec un profil persistant. Il clique, tape, et reçoit une capture après chaque action. Tu peux le regarder bosser en direct et reprendre la main pour un login ou un captcha.
Pour les modèles : Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter. Pour utiliser ton abonnement Claude ou ChatGPT, l'engine pilote directement les CLI officielles Claude Code et Codex.
L'agent peut aussi s'étendre tout seul : npm install dans son workspace, ajout d'un serveur MCP, sous-agents jetables pour déléguer une tâche
