ReScript 13.0.0-alpha.6 is out! I contributed parser improvements that cut parsing time by ~5% on real code (~10% in some synthetic benchmarks). Long-awaited source map support is here too. Give this pre-release a try! github.com/rescript-lang/res…

Monorepo support in @rescriptlang is excellent. Our front-end code architecture is able to meet the same quality standards we've always had for our backend. And the build is fast!

we love using ReScript & Elixir. Elixir is a perfect fit for managing our agent loops (GenServers / Phoenix), and ReScript is a blessing to manage the ever growing complexity of a React frontend codebase. Now that the agents are writing the code, there are no excuses left ppl

@rescriptlang has been doing awesome work for years, building a joyful experience for web apps in a typed language. Jane Street can’t directly use ReScript for compatibility reasons, but I’m so excited that we get to spend some time together and share ideas with this community.

I was on the latest episode of @DeadCodePod to talk about @rescriptlang! If you've heard the name and wondered what's going on with it in 2025, give the episode a listen! shows.acast.com/dead-code/ep…

Been building a @rescriptlang MCP server lately, letting an LLM truly see a codebase. If you haven’t met ReScript before, this one’s still worth watching . It has a clear case of how localized MCP servers can lift developer tooling. youtube.com/watch?v=stIXf1VN… #rescript #mcp

Some pretty crazy auto migration utils coming to @rescriptlang v12 if all works out. Primarily to ease migrating to the new stdlib, but intended to also build a foundation for automatic migrations. Usable by library authors, or even yourself locally in your own project.

This is an awesome trick by @dillon_mulroy! Since I love ReScript, here's the same example but in a functional style since ReScript doesn't use classes. Check this thread out if you're curious about ReScript (or the functional style) and I'll walk you through the code 🧵

you can take advantage of the fact that javascript maps preserves their keys in insertion order to build a really simple LRU cache in 40 lines of code don't npm install the world

we're doing this for these kinda tweets 💙 thank you the @rescriptlang team and @cometkim for trusting pkg.pr.new!

@rescriptlang has officially adopted pkg.pr.new, which means we now have npm packages for every commit 🚀 No more npm link or waiting for an alpha release! Thank you @asleMammadam, @AmirSakhravi, and @stackblitz team for supporting the ecosystem.

have heard very good things about rescript, cool to see it being used w/htmx!
I use this in ResX, a server side ReScript framework for building websites, with client side interactivity powered by HTMX. It has JSX (including async components) + its own extension of DOM props to allow for type safe + ergonomic HTMX use. github.com/zth/res-x

And here it is! The first video on my YouTube channel ✨ As promised, I show how to use my ReScript Rest library. But don't worry, the video will be for anyone interested in @rescriptlang. youtu.be/37FY6a-zY20

Been playing around with @rescriptlang all week and it finally feels like a "complete" language, in that it's a breeze to use and everything you'd want to do in JS you can do in it now. Async / await and dynamic import are huge. Uncurried mode also makes things SO simple.

🚀 Exciting News for @rescriptlang Developers! 🚀 The upcoming ReScript v12 completes the transition from curried to uncurried syntax, enhancing JavaScript integration while requiring minimal code changes. 🧩 🔍 Here’s a quick rundown of the transition through different versions: 1. Explicit Uncurried Syntax: Initially introduced with (.x) => x + 1. 2. Uncurried Mode: Differences between curried and uncurried syntax are ignored; all interpreted as uncurried. 3. Final v12 Syntax: Syntax identical to the initial language, with a new operator foo(2, ...) for explicit partial application. Key Differences: - Explicit arities: (x) => (y) => x + y ≠ (x, y) => x + y, just like in JavaScript. - Partial application is now explicit. 🌟 What made the transition challenging? - Ensuring minimal code changes for developers. - Maintaining backward compatibility while introducing new syntax. 🔧 Typical Changes Required: - Adding explicit partial application. - Making arities explicit, choosing one interpretation for nested types. 🔍 Big Changes in Principle, Few in Practice: - Despite potential for significant changes, most projects need minimal adjustments. - This suggests that explicit arities were already common in everyday code. Alpha versions are coming soon. Get ready to experience a smoother, more powerful ReScript! 💻✨

Or happy starting today
If JavaScript could do this, I would die happy: let x = { let now = new Date() return now.toString() } console.log(x.length)
