Saw @dunemovie Pt2 last night at @RegalMovies in @IMAX. The picture was glorious, but the sound was way too loud. "Immersive" shouldn't just be crank volume to 11. Speakers couldn't handle it so audio was distorted + the screen blurred w/vibration, utterly ruining the experience.
Is this really how @IMAX is supposed to be experienced? If that's the case, I'll watch movies at home.

I keep reading that film studios are contemplating
replacing writers and actors by using Artificial Intelligence to mimic their talents
Surely it would be easier and more efficient to replace executives, since they have no talent at all
What this signals to creatives, the industry and the audience is that the ends justify the means. Devastating isn't the beginning of it.
Can someone smarter than I am please explain why @registerguard makes it so hard to cancel? We've been trying for *months* & keep getting run-around...we're seriously considering cancelling our credit card just to stop. Phone only, w/no email confirmation is all kinds of sketchy.
Time is one of the few things we don't get back. With that in mind, let's move towards fewer meetings, and instead focus on action and accountability. Important point, though, is in no way am I saying let's have less communication.

My wife shared this with me, and so I am sharing it with the world because she is amazing. 🎉 A doctor sent this note in response to guidance she provided:

Not sure the thinking behind the new parking slab next to @5thStreetMarket Alley. With so many entry / exit points, but no clear directional, plus spot orientations that block traffic flow, it's a hazardous and cumbersome "solution". Not to mention zero trees means zero shade.

I often see these arguments against gun control legis: 1) Shooters will get access to a gun, even w/strict gun laws in place. 2) Prohibition didn’t stop alcohol… gun control won’t stop guns.
Now apply this logic to banning abortion. I'll wait.
I'm designing my daughter's 5th grade yearbook for her classmates - a culmination of their 6 years at @yujingakuen. Late last evening I had to pause. I just sat quietly reading their self-drawn & written bios. Their favorite books. Hopes. Heroes.
Our kids deserve better from us.

It would be great if my daughter's school would PLEASE STOP having school-wide assemblies in the gym just as the case counts are also rising at her school and across @4Jschools. We have the experience and tools to stop the spread, but we also have to be smart and USE THEM.
