My op-ed in CommonWealth Magazine: six Taiwanese auto parts makers are moving into AI server liquid cooling, all with the same pitch. Buyers will pick on proof. CPC and Danfoss publish leak data for their quick-disconnects. None of the six do yet. First to publish wins.
Gartner: only 13% of CIOs say AI has delivered significant value so far.
Firms with rules for when a pilot should NOT go live were 2.3x more likely to be in Gartner’s AI “vanguard”. Only 31% have them.
Same in Taiwan: many AI pilots linger like zombies, with no go/no-go call.

AWS is spending $220B on capex in 2026 and adding 2 million NVIDIA GPUs in 2027-28. CEO Matt Garman says the bottleneck still keeps moving: power, memory, TSMC capacity, HBM, connectors.
AWS tracks suppliers five tiers down. Many are in Taiwan. Do AWS planners know their names?
Meta's Muse is an AI agent for life admin, like booking appointments or canceling forgotten subscriptions. I think that's the next big thing.
The catch: you hand it your email and credit card. Why that's scary, from @cleoabram's interview with Meta AI chief Alexandr Wang:

I also made a longer cut with Chinese subtitles for my network here in Taiwan, where Muse isn't available yet.
TSMC doesn't need the help. A Taiwan chip brand would be for the rest of the range, especially when it comes to recruiting talent.
The hard part is getting six different bodies (MOEA, NSTC, NDC, TAITRA, ITRI, SEMI Taiwan) to agree on it.
Even the obvious name is taken. "Taiwan Semiconductor" is TSMC.
In Taiwan, TSMC is called the 護國神山, the sacred mountain that protects the nation. The government's goal is a 護國群山, a whole mountain range. From abroad, you only see the peak.
Last month Singapore launched SG Semiconductor, a national chip brand. I think it's a cool idea, and Taiwan should do one too.
Singapore makes 1 in 10 of the world's chips and few people know that. Taiwan has the opposite problem: abroad, people know exactly one company.
Why branding in the medical industry is so different. lnkd.in/fiYbbY3
Taiwan's reputation as a manufacturer of medical implants and devices is only getting stronger and stronger. I'm proud to have worked with companies such as United Orthopedic and look forward to working with many more! lnkd.in/fU-3yEm
Clients often ask me what they should listen to in order to get new ideas for strategy, branding and marketing. Here's a list of podcasts that I've been listening to this past year. Keep thinking! lnkd.in/fPuVn4T
