This man will literally do anything other than go to his constituency surgery
There are 78 illegal migrants on board this boat in the English Channel. Only 4 of them are women and children. Are you watching @DarrenPJones?

The stonewall riots are considered by many to be the founding of the modern lgbtq+ movement and a black trans woman threw the first brick
I have no idea who you are, but you really should know more about the gay rights movement and its origins before stating these ridiculous lies as facts… there were no trans people back then. Try again with re- writing history

The idea that I now buy a phone and the plug for the phone separately and at additional cost is nothing short of criminal. The fact it’s under the brand of sustainability and green business is worse
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

Hi Morrisons. If you wanted to show your support British farmers and other British people, perhaps you could pay corporation tax in this country? Just a thought.
A message to British Farmers from Morrisons - we’re with you and support you 💪
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Corporation tax is only paid on profits, Morrisons paid no corporation tax last year because it made a loss. Despite this it still paid over £1 billion in other taxes. It also paid large sums in UK corporation tax in previous years when it was profitable. foodmanufacture.co.uk/Article/2024/0… morrisons-corporate.com/globalassets/m… retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2023/07/a…

I’ve honestly never been happier to see the back of a company than moving my phone contract away from 3. Adding a random extra £5 onto my last bill and being disconnected before my number is active on my new phone isn’t even unexpected at this point ffs

Did I just stumble on a club remix of the lavender town theme during my workout? Yes Is it staying on the gym playlist? Absolutely

I cannot express how much some words need to have one singular meaning

There is something incredibly interesting about MPs not taking into consideration how their actions in parliament might affect their future careers…like, did you think you’d be an MP until you retired or did you think you’d had the personality to ride on speaking gigs alone??
Really interesting to hear former MP Jonathan Gullis reflecting on how hard it has been to get a job post election. He tells @TimesRadio he has applied for teaching jobs and not got an interview - which he believes is in part down to his political views.

Just a reminder that a) that’s how VAT usually works b) if the parents want to complain they should raise it first with eton rather than the government c) the people forking out for eton are the people who say you could buy a house if you bought fewer avocados
🚨 NEW: Eton College says it will pass the entire 20% VAT on fees to parents when Labour introduces it in January Parents will now have to pay an annual payment of £63,000, up from £53,000 [@thetimes]

“I’ve been a socialist all my life” says the person not willing to be means tested for a benefit in a demographic left largely untouched by a decade of austerity

I just feel like if my child’s face was being plastered around socially right-wing circles by an MP, I wouldn’t be in the best frame of mind to get a talking to about safeguarding children from the same mp…

Having moved across London 3 months ago, I can no longer avoid the trauma of finding a new hairdresser. Pray for me tomorrow as we discover how much I can regret allowing a stranger to cut my hair

I have spent the last few days building a GE tracker on google sheets for me and my friends to follow along at our homes. My apolitical bf is still trying to get to grips with this behaviour😂

But fewer avocados
So many solutions. Less meals out/take aways, cancel netflix etc, less costa coffees, cycle instead of using car public transport, energy saving lightbulbs , self catering holiday in UK, shop for clothes in charity shops, less trips to cinema etc

You have to be pretty far right on the political spectrum to say that most Labour MPs are hard left
Watch Suella Braverman spit her dummy out. "Keir Starmer has the charisma of a peanut... Labour is a party of hard left maniacs, who would undo brexit, who would open our borders & who would indoctrinated our institutions & schools with PC madness.. " #bbclaurak
