Turned my PC off last night didn't I. So this morning I have a 70GB MW4 update to install 🤦

To clarify further on this, because it seems to trigger the PvP thirsters... Saying things like "well this is how extraction shooters are" doesn't help anyone. Yeah it's an extraction mode, but it's Call of Duty first and foremost. Call of Duty has a huge community of players who have been left completely without any co-op PvE content this year after a decent time of having that type of content to play. Other people playing DMZ this way is just going to push players away from the mode. Those people don't play extraction shooters because they want to play Call of Duty. Expecting everyone to be a sweat just because you are is why this game keeps getting ripped for things like SBMM. It's not a "skill issue" at all. I can hold my own, killed plenty of those idiots last night. But lots of players want to have fun and getting spawn rushed isn't fun. So they will stop playing. DMZ is a great mode. And at times it has some amazing PvP battles. But there are other times it's unplayable because the lobbies are full of people who's only mission in life is to ruin other people's games. It's Call of Duty, not Tarkov. It has to be enjoyable for its entire player base somehow.

If you have a Switch 2 and you never played this game before...lord do yourself a favour and buy it immediately. SO. F'N. GOOD.

Now we just found a squad literally camping in a silo bunker waiting for someone to try and loot it. Seriously, fuck off and play Warzone you absolute melts. None of this is "PvP" it's ratting to try and get a bounty. All that after some absolute nutjob tried to run me over in a truck, missed, then got rinsed, crying out to his teammate "HES ONE SHOT BRO." I was not in fact one shot. I still had two full plates because he missed every shot 😂 I mean sometimes DMZ is so much fun. But I'm learning fast, do not play at night. Because it sucks. It's when all the sweaty little rats come out to play.

I want the XBOX app on Windows 11 to be good. I use it every single day, I use it to launch my non-XBOX games now, too. It's always been what I classify as "fine" but I'm happy to see they're starting to give it some serious attention now.

We need @InfinityWard to comment on this sooner rather than later. If it's true and MW4 ranked play isn't coming until Season 3, tell us. It's a ridiculous move if it's true though. You cannot be serious about a "competitive" experience and leave ranked play with CDL rules unplayable for the masses until half way through the games life cycle. At that point who will even really be that pumped for it? I'd jump into ranked play today if it were available. Public matchmaking is not fun, and everyone grinding Camos doesn't play objectives anyway. Can we just get some clarity?

Don't forget that Call of Duty: Warzone shuts down today on Xbox One and PS4. MW4 integration goes live at 5am GMT (Midnight ET) and then it's gone from last-gen consoles for good. You won't lose your stuff, it's tied to your account, but to keep playing you'll either need to move to a new console (really bad time to buy one), PC, or use the cloud. Oh and it's launching on Switch 2 if you have one of those.
