We’re going to Ibiza tomorrow, and my wife has measured out pots of the collagen supplement she has in her tea to take with her. I think we might get arrested at the airport.
More rummaging through my dad’s old photos has thrown up a few of the French cars he owned, covering all brands. He did like a wagon.
Sadly I lost my dad last week, a couple of weeks short of his 91st birthday. While going through photos and paperwork at his house, I came across this receipt for a BMW motorbike he bought when he was 22 years old, and a photo to go with it. Looks like a bargain.
Just in case anyone is still following the van build, I have been making internal progress but not completely finished any jobs to show you. This was a little side job I did yesterday though.
I haven’t had much time to work on the van lately and this will be the last job before Christmas. I didn’t want any screws visible from the front, so fitting it was a bit of a challenge! Nice soft closing hinges though.
Managed to get another little job done on the van last week. Just need to add some trim to the edge and finish the plinth, probably with a bit of vinyl.
Didn’t think much of this campsite, although they did have a selection of mattresses, which was handy as I haven’t finished building the beds yet.
The build cost of the van conversion is rapidly approaching the price I sold the 996 for a few years back.
