this is why I love working at @VanityFair yesterday, I saw half our staff clustered around our fashion correspondent's desk poring over this photo. As José puts it, "The image has several discrepancies. The style and make of the Chanel Flap bag is inconsistent with others the brand has sold, and the Valentino shoes in question appear askew in proportion; their straps have several punched holes that the authentic Valentino style does not." AI image detectors confirmed that yes, Olivia Reingold used an AI-generated image to make her point, without a drop of disclosure. Wild!!!! vanityfair.com/story/midterm…
So far at Abdul El-Sayed’s election night event I’ve spotted, Valentino heels, a Chanel bag, a Moncler jacket, Rolex watches, and a YSL bag among other designer items.

Friends, today, I am conceding the race for Nevada's Second Congressional District. I am proud of the fight we gave, and I am grateful for every one of you who stood with us. I will continue to fight for conservative leadership in Northern Nevada every day. Thank you for your support.

So the 41 datacenter moratoria across the country are, I predict, going to go 41-0. In nearly every case it's about 67-80% opposing datacenters. True in California, Ohio, everywhere. Read all the results here: dashboard-production-c2fc.up…

Elon Musk was among the biggest losers of election night. He doled out around $446 million — the most a non-candidate has ever spent on an election — but his preferred candidates were swamped, losing almost everywhere. politico.com/storyline/live/…

Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford takes the stage at the @nvdems party in downtown Las Vegas shortly before midnight. Says the race is too close to call, but thinks the numbers favor him. Asks for patience for all ballots to be counted. #rjnow

"To Gov. Lombardo ... we disagree on the direction that Nevada should take, but we do agree on this: every vote should be counted, and the voters deserve the final word. I respect the process and I trust the people counting. I will not claim a victory that has not been earned."
