Let's talk for a moment about the WWE Hall of Fame. Sid Eudy's passing yesterday has this on my mind. Sid had a slam-dunk, grand-slam-home-run level career that was more than worthy of induction a long time ago, yet he wasn't inducted yet and now... he's gone. This happened with Macho Man Randy Savage, too. And Vader. Guys who deserved to go in while they were still with us, but due to whatever decision making process is used or due to whatever political this-and-that got in the way.... they were not. I know they want to keep the ceremonies shorter these days. I understand that a lot of it caters to the city they are in or to whatever might be going on in the world at that time. But there's a LOT of past-due inductees that are still with us right now. Demolition, for example. Cyndi Lauper. Rick Martel. The Rougeau Brothers - especailly Jacques. It's a new era in WWE, right? Perhaps they could then get this part right? Honor the legacy of these Superstars® while they are still alive and able to experience it. Catch up on that rather long "way past due" list of inductees and get it done. Because it's a damn shame when it happens this way. @wwe @tripleh #wwe #wwehalloffame #demolition #rickmartel #cyndilauper #themountie #therougeaus #SychoSid
