eddie really rode horseback across the desert, spent $7k on a ratty old car, and almost murdered two people and he didnt even know if he'd find buck alive.
i dont think it'd happen but what if et tu is because somebody accidentally absolutely bombs their interview with the social worker trying to prove buck's a good foster for theo and ends up being the reason theo gets taken its a complete accident but buck doesnt know at first
and it could literally be ANYONE in the 118, everyone agreeing to interview on his behalf so he can keep theo in a more longterm capacity but then he learns hes getting rehomed and that it's because something one of his closest friends said in an attempt to help
