The @aadl has scanned and OCR text of a few legendary interviews done by the Ann Arbor Sun. I've been doing a bunch of reading on Sun Ra, and I found this one from April 1967. Same issue has an interview with Frank Zappa 💫 aadl.org/node/192520

Ryan J Raffa and Andrew Weathers’ (pic) Reign of Ferns creates a hazy, dreamlike blend of textures and rhythms that dissolve into shifting atmospheres. Out Beyond unfolds slowly, merging environmental sounds and spontaneous composition into expansive, surreal spaces.

The world is a freeform composer: Reign of Ferns engages the slow fizz of sounds around us into their own distinct dissolve of rhythm and pulse. Their piece for LE, Out Beyond Is, takes this into a surreal space that moves like the breaking of day that could go on forever.
