In the life of Jesus we see the ultimate expression of love of God and love of neighbour. He is the fulfilment of the law - his summary of the law is perfectly embodied in him. To love God and love our neighbour we must look to Jesus, follow him, emulate him, become like him.
How’s the Church of England’s commitment to net zero by 2030 going? How much “central money” has been spent and where has it come from? Is the target due to be revised or shifted?
I wasn’t elected, but never mind! More time for better things… Meanwhile, prayers for all those who have been elected and for the new synod. I will continue to advocate the principles and causes I stood for in my election address.
I’m standing for General Synod! Thanks to Chris Lee & Philip Barnes for nominating me.
Clergy in @dioceseoflondon - please consider voting for me, perhaps as your 1st preference.
Everyone else - please pray for me & for all the candidates!

Hi @NatWest_Help your ATM on King Street in Hammersmith just inexplicably refused to return my Nationwide debit card. I tried to report this via the phone number on the ATM but your automated service wanted me to use my NatWest account details - but I don’t bank with you!
Happy feast! My middle name is Michael, as is my father’s, and my grandmother’s name was Gabriel. Angelically united across three generations! All you holy angels and archangels, pray for us!
Pope Benedict XVI: The Gospel for this Sunday… speaks of two sons, but behind them… is a third son. The first son says “no,” but does the father’s will. The second son says “yes,” but does not do what he was asked. The third son both says “yes” and does what he was asked.

I was asked by @CTmagazine in the US to write about the role that Evangelicals played in the assisted-dying debate and the coalitions built. With thanks to Alicia Edmund @EAUKnews & @rmbastable for speaking about the C of E and a letter that grew...

Delighted to have been interviewed and quoted by the ever-gracious @MadsDavies for this article written for an American evangelical audience about the defeat of assisted suicide legislation in recent weeks:

Hi @TalkTalk - I have a problem with my landline phone connection but this doesn’t seem to be covered by your online assistant which keeps redirecting me to WiFi issues - but my WiFi is fine! Can I be contacted directly to rectify this issue please?
A reminder for certain MPs (and others): the Lords did not vote down the assisted suicide bill - the Commons did.
Anything about the 70 amendments tabled by the bill’s advocate in the Lords? Anything about improving palliative care? Anything about the concerns of the royal colleges and professional bodies? Anything about the charities and organisations representing the disabled? NAH. 🙄
