elon fired 75% of twitter and your timeline was just a guy talking about bespoke pants you can't even buy unless you live in one of three cities
Travis: Do any of us doubt that if 75% of federal employees were gone tomorrow in terms of the payroll.. that the government would severely be curtailed in terms of it's ability? I don't.

Sometimes in the commentary we ask, "Why was this level designed this way and not another way?" You'll be able to play counterfactual redesigns of these levels to see how they would have been, if different decisions had been made.

I think itโ€™s the career opportunities, for me and for friends, on this once-great platform Iโ€™m grieving the most

We signed up en masse because what we sought in the next frontier of adulthood, we slowly realized, was being actualized online. Friendster, Blogger, Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook were where we found community, honed our creative urges, and secured careers

Millennials are the last of the analog world, both of yesterday and tomorrow, the bridge between what was and what will be. Maybe this is where my hesitation takes root, and why it feels like there are no good apps left for socializing the way we used to.

Sometimes a mistake is much more than just a mistake. By not allowing Ukrainian drones to destroy part of the Russian military (!) fleet via #Starlink interference, @elonmusk allowed this fleet to fire Kalibr missiles at Ukrainian cities. As a result, civilians, children are being killed. This is the price of a cocktail of ignorance and big ego. However, the question still remains: why do some people so desperately want to defend war criminals and their desire to commit murder? And do they now realize that they are committing evil and encouraging evil?

The dumbest thing about this is how every other social platform WISHES they created a unique and renowned verb like "Tweet" or "Retweet" - that kind of brand recognition is near impossible to replicate intentionally

This might sound crazy - it is not crazy. Lee Kuan Yew talks at great length throughout his memoirs on building Singapore about trees specifically, trees *as such*, being harbingers and indicators and inspirers of great things:
