Vance and Vivek and all of these Trump wannabes come off terrible because they can’t take the heat and end up backpedaling. Trump is like sociopath Logan Roy and all these other dudes are like Kendall when he’s trying to act like Logan and everybody wants him to shut the fuck up.
Vance is right. Republicans should stop whining about this ad and defend it. That’s the only morally consistent thing to do. You’ve all said for decades that having empathy and compassion is for faggots and it’s too late to turn back now.
Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu were thriving as singles competitors and now they’re just Bloodline background to make Roman look stronger. What was even the point of the Solo segment when he struck Roman? #WWERaw
The reason why this bit works is the long buildup. The premise/setup is the most important part of any bit/joke. Why most “edgy” comedy fails today isn’t offensive punchlines, it’s the lack of buildup to earn the offense. An Austin comic would just do the accent without context.
Like clockwork, I’ve seen people criticize “You Can See Everything” by simply saying that “100% positive rating of anything is suspicious” who haven’t even seen the movie. Needing to feel special is the most important part of their existence.
Being on this app has made me so happy to no longer being a professional contrarian. I can see now how I used to behave and now realize I just wanted to feel special and the only way to get attention in my lonely existence was to start arguments. A really terrible way to live.
Nathan Fielder’s documentary about Elizabeth Holmes “You Can See Everything” has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and it STILL exceeded my expectations. An almost 3 hour movie that felt *too SHORT*. I could’ve watched another 3 hours of that. I cannot recommend it enough.
This post is not a joke. Too much singing but Joker 2 was actually a decent movie. Hated the first one so maybe that’s why.
I would probably hate talking to Aaron Sorkin in real life and it goes against every instinct of mine but god dammit I’ve seen A Few Good Men like 50 times and I will always love it just as much on every rewatch
