Here is my personal nightmare with @krakenfx ❌
I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years. After multiple verifications processes over the years my daily deposit and withdrawal limit was pretty high.
They changed rules in summer decreasing my limits (first piss off).
Also instant withdrawal on weekends don’t work anymore since that update (second piss off).
I bought a bunch of bitcoin on their platform, long time ago and withdrew it to my cold wallet (self custody), where my #bitcoin was free.
Now I wanted to deposit 0,5 #BTC back to @krakenfx unnoticed of the changed daily deposit limit it exceeded the 25.000$ limit, so now they freezed it 🥶
They are requesting:
“documentation that shows sufficient evidence as source of funds that includes your name, address, and has been issued within the last 90 days. As mentioned on our previous email. It can be one of the following:
•Pension statement
•Payroll statement
•Loan statement
•Dividends statement
•Heritage statement
•Bank account statement”
What are they smoking? I onboarded with a bank deposit, bought #Bitcoin on their platform, withdrew (over 90 days ago) and wanted to deposit from the same BTC address‼️
