two of our most talented artists had never written a line of code this week they vibe-coded a game with Claude on Jamango - two days later they had a banger playable on the web just in time for the world cup meet Mango League: Jamango x Rocket League ⚽️ jamango.io/game/FB2A0/mango-… #threejs #jamango

asked opus 5.5 to add cute dogs to Jamango and it created a full quadruped rig that follows our art/animation style complete with a bunch of fun animations i think i’m in love next up: horsies

We have a huge pivot underway here at Jamango, moving developers around to retool for maximum AI acceleration. I know Tim Sweeney said it first, but it’s true! We’ve been experimenting on a new build of the Jamango engine to build browser based multiplayer games completely with AI including generating beautiful voxel worlds and models. It has already empowered a chump like me, who had never made a game before, build multiple games that players actually enjoy playing. Today, Jamango games I made over the last month crossed 100,000 organic plays! I used Claude & Codex to direct the AI, building on Jamango’s opinionated foundation of models, assets, animations, gameplay systems and multiplayer infrastructure that provided the base which let me concentrate on the idea, the game loop and how it felt to play. As our tools and the underlying models improve, we see enormous potential to expand both who can create on Jamango and how much fun content they can produce and share with their buddies. Over the coming months, we will continue to work on the input layer by producing a high quality human-crafted library of assets that can proliferate the quality and quantity of the games made by creators alongside bringing these powerful creation tools to players in an accessible way. Players who understand the games, memes and trends will be able to turn that understanding into new Jamango games in days and share them instantly on the web. The future is brighter than ever!

+1 million. I wrote something about this relative to what’s happening in gaming rn dylancollins.com/p/the-momen…
In a world where software can be easily reverse engineered, the biggest value is compounding value of your userbase and network.

You should have heard me 15 months ago! I'd rather celebrate people updating their priors than dunking on them for being late. Make it cool to change your mind when you realize the facts have changed!

I’m so excited to share this update on @Conception – We’ve generated the first early human eggs derived from stem cells. This is a big deal -- the potential to redefine fertility is real.

pretty cool to see two of the most creative people I know totally unleashed to make something they couldn't have imagined before jamango gave them the hard parts - animations, movement, camera, netcode so they just spent 100% of their time on game feel and level design they built the map out of blocks and let Opus 4.8 and Fable 5 handle the code

I tend to agree. I've been predicting this for many years and it does seem as though technology/device/browser support has reached a tipping point that's colliding perfectly with the AI explosion. I think we will see numerous unicorns in this space, and likely have a "steam for the web", "roblox for the web" type ecosystem evolve but with new product innovations that actually make the player experience better. Super social/frictionless/multiplayer platforms that have the potential to go viral.
I think the onslaught of @threejs projects is the very early stages of a Cambrian-explosion-type rise in web games I don't play Fortnite or Roblox, but my kids do. And I've quickly come to see the friction drop when it's in one platform vs steam is huge Web is thatFriction^-10
