Amy Acton is LYING!!! An expired license is not the same as a suspended license. Only the BMV or a court can suspend a license. She was charged with a 1st Degree Misdemeanor punishable by jail time and she doesn’t remember why?! @joingles @jbalmert @jpelzer @AndrewJTobias @MorganTrau @AnnaStaver @SarahEDon @DougPetcash @karenkasler @danielgeldredge

Today, I’m reflecting on the passing of Jim Bakker. Jim Bakker was one of the trailblazers of Christian television. Along with Tammy Faye, he helped take Christian programming into a different era, reaching millions of people through television and helping demonstrate what was possible when faith and media came together. His story was complicated. There were tremendous highs, devastating failures, and consequences that affected many lives. I don't want to ignore any of that. But I also believe we can recognize the impact someone had on an industry while being honest about the whole story. For those of us working in Christian television today, there is a history that we stand on. People like Jim Bakker helped pave the way. The technology has changed. The platforms have changed. Television has become streaming, apps, social media, connected TVs and digital networks. But the mission of using media to reach people with a message of faith continues. I can honestly say that I may not be doing what I’m doing today without the pioneers who came before me and helped prove that Christian television could have a place in the broader media landscape. Today, as I look at what we are building with Abundant TV, I’m reminded that we didn't start this journey from scratch. We are standing on the shoulders of people who took risks, built studios, experimented with new technology, and believed that the Gospel could reach people through television. Jim Bakker was one of those people. His life reminds us of both the possibilities of media and the responsibility that comes with influence. So today, I honor the contribution he made to Christian television and the doors that his generation helped open for those of us who came after. The platforms may change. The technology may change. But the opportunity to use media to reach people with hope, faith and the message of Jesus is still here. And I’m grateful to be part of that continuing story. Rest in peace, Jim Bakker.

Yep
Talking bad about Christians online doesn’t advance the Kingdom of God. It divides the Body of Christ.
