What should you build yourself when you're building a blockchain database?
With Amp, we started with four open-source pieces: Flight for moving data, DataFusion for queries, Arrow for memory, and Parquet for storage.
That lets our team focus on what the chain needs: datasets that update block by block, streams that handle reorgs, and query planning that skips irrelevant block ranges before opening files.
