I agree with this generally, and also with gay/queer movies/tv roles. Especially for actors who are straight unlabeled whatever- you get one or two freebies, but Nicholas Galitizine, Josh O’Connor and Paul mescal- enough! let’s give someone else a go!
Just to add: C/F were publicly & privately going on dates. They then stopped appearing together, after a tsunami of hate, even death threats. No one is privy to details of their relationship since then, clearly by design. There is simply no comparison to HudCon tryst fantasies.
Listen, can some folks stop asking us to pay for the sins of Hudcons already? Idc what you think about those who think Connor & François are still together; that's neither here nor there. We know these men were harassed nonstop for stepping out in public so a breakup was always a very distinct possibility, and even the most diehard cç supporter will not deny it. The fact remains, however, that HUDSON WILLIAMS HAS HAD A GIRLFRIEND FOR 6 YEARS AND HUDCONS STILL INSIST HE'S MEETING UP FOR SECRET DATES/SEX SESSIONS WITH HIS CO-STAR. This is so beyond the pale it's breathtaking, but these people are allowed to go about their merry way while everyone else gets accused of being the same or worse. I'm sick & tired of this nonsense.
It's all fun & games until they're attacking Rachel Reid because Scott Hunter is playing a bigger role in Unrivaled while declaring she's also setting Connor up to be made uncomfortable on set by Fran's presence; or when they're sending mass hate comments to outlets that dare to call Connor openly gay. I get it: the 50 François fans on HRTWT intermixed with a handful of Conçois supporters are no match for the thousands on their side but that's no excuse for the ridiculous false equivalencies that keep being made repeatedly.
