A place with a story worth telling, in the heart of America’s breadbasket. I’ve launched mercedcalifornia.org as a small way to give back to the community that welcomed my family and me.
Just getting started. Everyone is welcome!

Learning from those who are learning. @BORRELL_USA – at Merced, CA
Great to see the PDR presentation for one of the Capstone projects we're sponsoring at the UC Merced this semester, focused on improving safety and automation in thermal processing equipment.
These collaborations are a two-way learning experience. At BORRELL, we're currently working with four university-level academic institutions across several countries, and we learn something new from every project.

But what impressed me most is MID’s role as an economic driver for our region.
Reliable irrigation supports our farmers, while competitive electricity benefits businesses and families, with rates that can be up to 40% lower than PG&E.
Another real competitive advantage for #Merced County.
That is especially important for #manufacturing industries like ours, and it is a model worth replicating, a proven success story, also in the efficient management of #water resources.#Merced #California
We also heard about MID’s plans for Lake Yosemite, now under its management: expanding its recreational, social and tourism potential in a truly unique location, right next to @ucmerced .
A great asset for the community with plenty of room to grow.
