Skubal, Sato, Morejon and let's get after it.
After last season, it's gonna be very hard to sell the Mets fanbase a 1B platoon of Jared Young and Mark Vientos (who is a butcher defensively). Get the guy with the most upside.
"If Sato is indeed destined for first base, it would make him an ideal fit for a Mets team that still has a huge hole at the position.
Jared Young performed admirably there this past season with Jorge Polanco injured and Mark Vientos ineffective, but Young - who doesn't have much power and struggles against left-handed pitching - might profile better in a reserve role."

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

📻 Ethan Hawke is bringing the eerie magic of Art Bell-style late-night radio back to life with a new horror podcast.
In an exclusive interview with Collider, Hawke revealed how he reunited with director Scott Derrickson and writer C. Robert Cargill for Midnight Radio, a fictional AM talk show where strange callers share stories of the supernatural. But when one caller claims to have been part of a forgotten U.S. space mission, the broadcast spirals into a chilling mystery involving government cover-ups, interdimensional breaches, and psychological warfare.

Watched "Strangers on a Train" again on the flight back from Belgium. Robert Walker is so, so good. Pretty good story pedigree too: Patricia Highsmith novel, with screenplay work by Raymond Chandler. Devious and delicious.
Jack Lowden, please.
Breaking: JAMES BOND screen tests happening this weekend, as early as Friday. Callum Turner, Jack Lowden are testing, Jacob Elordi is not. My sources tell me that Jack O'Connell is not but there are at least 3 actors testing, according to sources hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

❝Critics used the word ‘illustrator’ as a denigrating label. I resented the implied barrier between illustrator and painter. Both should be measured by their competence—not by artificial compartments contrived by critics.❞
