Fascinating how King Ghidorah’s 1964 film debut and his 2019 MonsterVerse debut both feature a money shot pairing him with imagery associated with the majority religion of each film’s country of origin: Shintoism in the former, Christianity in the latter.

All the worms at the park start slithering towards me at the same time. I shake my head. They stop. I'm on a first date, and she's not ready to know about that part of my life yet.

don't read metamorphosis if you're unemployed, disabled and have a younger sister 😵‍💫😵‍💫 it hits HARD

Kafka's Metamorphosis is about capitalism turning people into monsters towards those they perceive as unproductive. The point isn't that you should also act like that.

unpopular opinion: i love dinosaurs, horror movies and some of mike flanagan's projects BUT i'm so bored of the concept of scary dinos chasing humans.. we had jurassic parks (jurassic world: fallen kingdom had classic horror vibes with that raptor creeping around the house)
Jurassic Outpost@JurassicOutpostOct 23
Mike Flanagan wants to make a Jurassic horror movie! “A Jurassic movie could be a blast too… I’d want to go really scary with it. A true dinosaur horror film would be a blast.” 🦖 youtu.be/CPYj5jwXihA?is=tOdH…

and the end of oak street this year.. it's enough for me! idk maybe it's because i love herbivorous dinos the most (NEED MORE CONTENT WITH THEM, especially ceratopsians PLEASE) and feel like horror stories make these animals into monsters and that's how ppl perceive them after :/
