After my dad died, I started writing... it's what I do to get through things. I kept coming back to the idea of playing catch as a metaphor for relationships, something my dad said once. Here's the result: teapawt.org/ronschott/status/17854…

The Bad News?
The ✈️ is sold out! 🙄
The Good News?😁
The plan is to charter these flights with @SeaPortAir every home football weekend!
Because we always find our way #BackHome!

✈️ ATTN SEATTLE COUGS: Fly Direct to Pullman for the @WSUCougarFB game against Arizona on Sept 26! 🏈🐾
We are gauging fan interest for an exclusive round-trip chartered flight with @SeaPortAir to get you from Seattle straight to Martin Stadium with zero hassle.
Considering what hotels and game-day travel cost in Pullman on football weekends, $500 round-trip is an absolute bargain! You skip the drive across I-90 and avoid multi-night hotel bills entirely. Not to mention free parking at @Boeing Field😎!
Here’s the breakdown:
📍Route: Seattle (Boeing Field) ✈️ Pullman @PMR_Airport
🗓️Date: Saturday, September 26
💵Price: $500 round trip
🛩️Seats: 9 total, but we need at least 7 seats filled to lock in the flight!
⏰ Timing: Arrives early for tailgating and departs PUW right after the game.
💰 NIL Impact: A portion of proceeds directly supports WSU Student Athletes via the Cougar Collective NIL fund.
🚨 DEADLINE: Last day to commit to a seat is Tuesday, September 22!
Interested in claiming a seat?
Express your interest now:

💬 DM: Message @CougCollective directly!
Let’s fly east, tailgate big, and pack Martin Stadium! Go Cougs! 🚩🏈

Absolute class act. Bill was one of a kind. He always has made me and my family feel welcome - whether that was on the sidelines, on campus, or anywhere else we ran into him. Wishing him the best in retirement.

I was spending more time on admin than coaching.
So I built something to fix it.

1, Arizona went 0-3 against WSU and OSU in 2023-24.
2. Washington State has made the NCAA Tournament more recently than USC, Utah, UW, Stanford, Cal and ASU.
3. All it took for Arizona to get back to the Final Four was to not choke for the first time in a decade.

Kinda random, but can you imagine if St. John's Dylan Darling, Florida's Rueben Chinyelu, Purdue's Oscar Cluff, the Memphis Grizzlies' Jaylen Wells and Detroit Pistons' Isaac Jones were on the same team? Maryland's Myles Rice and Isaiah Watts might have thrived on that squad too.
I spent years lobbying to let people we featured in windows ads decorate the PCs with stickers that showed their personalities, but could never get it done. OEMs were too worried about how it would make the device look… Apple’s new Neo campaign features decorated devices front and center. The Windows ecosystem is a double-edged sword.
Should have said this sooner, but: incredibly impressed with @HoopsMonroe. Well-coached and good kids. Absolute shame we had to meet them in a loser-our game so early in the #WIAA State Tourney. WESCO needed some better seeding. They battled so hard.
Every single kid looked us in the eye and shook hands after a truly hard-fought game. Best of luck to all of them - on and off the court - in the future.

COUG NATION, I am calling out to all of you right now! This has been a wild past couple of days for everyone involved with WSU football. However, with everything going on we still have the ability to show why Cougs are more resilient and closely bonded from the rest. We get 1 more opportunity to play in Boise, Idaho Dec. 22nd in the Potato Bowl. Countless players, fans, and members associated with our program have invested so much time into this season, I believe we all deserve to end it off on a positive note. For many of us, this will be our last opportunity to represent the Cougar logo and we would want nothing more than to do so as winners with our fans rallying behind us. Hope to see all of you guys there in 2 weeks time.
Go Cougs!

That's right, Cougs! We've officially added #MorganWeaver to the Cougar Collective Board 👏
We're thrilled to add her perspective to our team, especially as a previous WSU student-athlete and current player for @ThornsFC.
Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! #GoCougs

The fact the collective has just 2,000 members is embarrassing and unacceptable.
This fanbase always prides itself on the passion for the school but yet when it comes to spending we don't show up. Why?

I decided to recreate that fantastic @brandonarose photo of @WSUPullman when @CollegeGameDay came to town in 2018. Love this place in the fall (and winter, spring, & summer)! #GoCougs
