My thoughts on the Midterm Results: My heart breaks for our country. Despite the best efforts by so many to support Republican candidates and call conservatives back to our principles, our Republican team suffered a historic defeat. This midterm election wasn’t a rout, it was a reckoning. The American people have rejected our party’s shift toward economic populism, and our majorities in Congress and state legislatures and governorships across the country paid the price. But like most people of faith, I’m an eternal optimist. I know that with God’s help, we can save our movement—and our country—again. We can return the Republican Party to the timeless principles that have led to our greatest successes and, more important, have made America strong, prosperous and free. The conservative comeback starts today. Let’s get to work. 🇺🇸

The conservative movement has four potential paths forward: 1. Revert to the eGOP of the Bush family, Thune, etc. 2. Double down on MAGA. 3. Create some new, galvanizing direction (that's what Vance is trying to create with the "New Right"). 4. Go the way of the Whigs and fracture into new/multiple parties. I don't see any other choices. I don't think #3 will work with Vance, but who knows, some other Trumpish figure may emerge who can create his/her own movement that is as effective as MAGA has been. #1 is a non-starter for obvious reasons. Can anyone successfully make #2 happen? That coalition was largely based on Trump's personality, and the only personality I see on the scene that rivals his is Hegseth's, hence my article yesterday. However, if DeSantis can effectively assume the MAGA mantle that might be the ticket as he is untarnished by DC at the moment and can make the case as an outsider. And if #1, #2 and #3 fail, we may be stuck with #4, which result in giving America over to communist jihadists. (And please don't tell me we need to be more "moderate." The Dems ran insanely to the most extreme ends of their lunacy and won.)

Governor DeSantis GOES OFF on Vivek Ramaswamy. “How bad did they beat Vivek like a drum? Now, part of that was Vivek, quite frankly. And I know he shot himself in the foot. I know he did a lot of other stuff to make it a real landslide against him. But even with that, it's like, you got to meet the voters where they are on some of this stuff. I think we would have done better in Ohio had we had a candidate that was more representative or more in tune with the interests of kind of these blue-collar people that make the backbone of Ohio. But they got blown out there.”

One thing people are not talking about is what a crappy job Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) did as chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, for the 2026 election cycle. When I saw he was the one picked, I knew we were going have problems. We sure did.

There are ignorant people on the right who want you to blame yourself, Jews, and Iran nuclear disarmament for (improbable meets impossible) election results. They want you to believe it was your fault the beast who controls the election grid did exactly what it intended to do in the effort to create a new America in its own image. Resist. .@laralogan is the only account I see in the media sphere who is consistently reminding you 'they' own the election grid and unless this admin does something about the flagrant abuses occurring within that grid, you will never recover this country. It simply won't happen. You will spend your life chasing chum they throw out every election cycle of hopium. Rubio won't save you. DeSantis won't save you. A decent Democrat won't save you (yes, there are a few left). You are effectively operating in an open air prison.
