Props to @rjonesy: @Flighty is always updated with support for the latest iPhone features and layouts very quickly and it's a beautiful app. All developers should be like him.

Guy like me dunked on @ParkerOrtolani for showing interest in this icon changing, then I posted this myself a week later. I was in a bad mood 🙏 Public apology to Parker right here

Tried to find an official Apple marketing image of Edge Light on the iPhone Duo and I found this Cult of Mac mockup instead What the fuck is this

Why didn't the actual Apple Music app icon on iOS 27.2 get some color like this? I think it looks cooler this way.

⬇️ Apple's full statement regarding iPhone Duo availability for walk-in customers. "On Friday morning, our teams look forward to welcoming customers at Apple Stores to experience iPhone Duo and the incredible iPhone line-up for themselves. Apple Stores will have limited iPhone Duo available for walk-in customers, and we’re working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers' hands as quickly as possible."

MORE: Apple tells me Apple Stores in these countries will have "limited" iPhone Duo inventory for walk-in customers on Friday: U.S., Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, U.K., and most stores in Italy.

NEW: Apple tells me that Apple Stores will have "limited" availability of iPhone Duo on launch day — except in some countries where a reservation is required, mostly in Asia. Given "extraordinary" pre-order demand, Apple expects that supply will sell out quickly on Friday.

"Surround Sound" and "Whole Room Audio" are separate settings on the new Apple TV 4K, according to @itspdfu. I explain what "Whole Room Audio" is in my article below.

Apple routinely underpromises and overdelivers in situations like these. How would I get iPhone Duo customers to feel happier about a mid-November delivery estimate? I would give them mid-December at first and then bump it up to mid-November later.

"Pro and tell" tagline *seems* to rule out the "MacBook Ultra" name. RIP to "iPhone Ultra" and "MacBook Ultra" rumors 👋

Apple is holding an experience in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 28 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time / 1 p.m. Eastern Time. New products rumored to be announced by that day: MacBook Pro with OLED display, iPad mini with OLED display, 14" MacBook Pro with M6 chip, iMac with M6 chip.
