hey internet, this is really important --> #php2shell gives attackers remote code execution on PHP servers pre-authentication, and @fastly has seen active attack activity.

This is one of the dependency philosophies I covered in this talk, and I think more teams should do it!
When I was onstage, I asked how many people in the audience do this, and only one person raised their hand: Andrew Kelley, creator of @ziglang.

There is no heap, no malloc, no GC, no reference counting, no destructors.
Every value lives on a (address space reserved) data stack the compiler statically assigns. Growing is a pointer bump. Freeing a deeply nested tree is one store when its scope ends.

What an interview!
This is an eloquent and candid experience report (plus tech demo) from @roc_lang's most prolific production user.
Niclas has been getting paid to use Roc in production for 2 years (!) even though it's not (quite) at version 0.1.0 yet.

The same thing with happen with AI video as happened with AI writing and AI art. As soon as we're oversaturated on a style, it becomes gauche. We want to see novelty, we want to see style, and above all we want to see craft.

in Delta (delta.dev), you can easily learn about the product from the product.
if you're unsure whether we already support something you're missing, just @-mention delta at any time and you'll get the answer right away, without even having to visit the docs :)

Really enjoyed the talk. I watched Casey's OOPs talk at the time. This provided a lively additional followup. Making my way through the video links in the YT description.
