@rubyonmac - I bought this last year, I think, and never looked back. It works on Mac flawlessly so I never spend time to fix a Ruby installation - really worth the money if I factor in the time I would need to put it to fix an installation.

Paying for a tool to set up #RubyOnRails dev environments may seem ludicrous! @rubyonmac has repeatedly saved me many hours of time & even made installing older versions of Ruby like 2.3.4 on a Mac M2 Pro a breeze. And @monfresh offers great support and more🥇

When upgrading macOS to a new major version (like Ventura), remember to run “brew doctor”. It will complain about missing CLT, which you can install with “xcode-select --install”. @rubyonmac Prime/Ultimate customers, I will detect this and install for you. Update coming soon.

@rubyonmac your script worked like a charm. Rebooting @nearIM project and got the 'ol You don't have write permissions for the /System/Library/Frameworks... problem, which held up updating my cocoapods dependencies. Thank you!

Thank you @monfresh for your Ruby on Mac script! I decided to install ruby on my Macbook M1. It helped me avoid any Intel vs Arm issues with my Macbook M1.

This week, I’m focusing on the Pro version, that I hope to release by next Monday. I need to keep reminding myself to just ship. I have many ideas, but I need to resist waiting until they’re all ready. Just put it out there, and iterate. Here’s what’s coming in Pro:

A little over 7 weeks since launching Ruby on Mac, total revenue is now $4926. This means I made $1001 in the past 8 days! At this rate, I’m on track to beat my goal of $24k total revenue this year. It’s interesting that Australia is 2nd in terms of customers. Cheers!
