My brother Tommy DiGennaro fought for his first amateur title this past weekend.
His father Joey was there cage side supporting like always. Like any other fight of Betovens, he was at every sparing & training session, and even earned his blue belt under the general @MattSerraUFC at the age of 52.
Joey passed away due to a heart attack during the fight. It’s unimaginable. Such a great person, retired NYPD, father to 3 amazing children. Always supporting and leading by example.
God works in mysterious ways. Tom has overcome so much in his life already. An amazing high school and college wrestler who is becoming a high level mixed martial artist all while being deaf.
Joeys legacy will live on through Tom and his younger brother and sister. Tom won his title fight and got that belt for his dad.

Any help for the family during this hard time is appreciated. 🙏🏻👊🏻

Henry Cejudo apprehended a hit-and-run driver that hit his neighbor’s home and tried to flee the scene 😳
“Once he hit my neighbor, I was like ‘alright man’…
Picked him up, dropped him, slapped him a little bit.”

I saw the 'coins'. They were enormous. Like medals of honor.
@HenryCejudo post a pic of yours.
