Like Luka, Nikola Jokic was criticized for being out of shape and lazy defensively early in his career.
Over his first five seasons, from age 20 to 25, Joker averaged 17.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.5 assist per game.
Jokic re-dedicated himself in his mid-20's.
Over the past 4+ seasons, Jokic has averaged 27/12/9 and has won 3 MVPs, a Finals MVP and a NBA Championship.
maybe worth noting re Doncic?

Tony Gwynn would've turned 63 this month. Over 20 seasons, he compiled 3,141 hits, a .338 lifetime average, eight batting titles (including four in a row 1994-97), 790 walks and 434 strikeouts, 319 SB, 15 AS appearances, 5 Gold Gloves. The year he was inducted into the HOF, he was named on 97.6% of ballots; 13 writers didn't include him on their submissions.

If Volpe isn't the Opening Day SS, the Yankees aren't in the business of winning. Would be beyond negligent. It's a wrap.
He's been the guy for two weeks. They cannot possibly ignore that now.

Another great win for the Knicks.
Garden was really loud.
Very cool to have this type of intense, important game in NYC this late in the season.
