Are @MaryCuthbe41916 and @slavin_robert really suggesting it's OK for male bosses to touch and stroke junior female employees?
to everyone, can I encourage you all to gently stroke @slavin_robert and at @CraigMurrayOrg on the cheek. They both seem to believe this is a neutral gesture.

I see Salmond's goons continue to hound and harass the women who had the courage to tell police about their experiences at their boss's hands. This is medieval and disgusting.

If a white person born in Australia can be Australian without Aboriginal ancestry, and a white person born in America can be American without Native American ancestry, why can't a Black person born in England be English without Anglo-Saxon ancestry?

This is not true.
I should’ve seen the BBC news that morning - but the FOI confirms I was not briefed.
Jeez, if I’d known, I’d have given a damn sight better answer than I did at the time!
An answer that wasn’t acceptable and nobody was more frustrated than myself about that.

curious, so when will the social care plan kick in? @IanMurrayMP
Andy Burnham has suggested he could delay his free national care service well into the 2030s to avoid having to raise taxes to fund it.
Speaking on Wednesday, the prime minister acknowledged that savings from the scrapping of the current pensions triple lock would not fund his social care reform plans until later in the next decade.
Costings published by the government on Wednesday estimate the pensions policy will save £15bn a year in cash terms by 2039-40, rising to £50bn by 2049-50, equivalent to £11bn and £30bn in current prices.
Burnham said that “savings on that scale would be enough to pay for social care, but obviously they’re not released immediately”.
Asked by Sky News if tax rises would be required, he said: “No, because there’s a different way of doing it. If you delay the date of introduction and you introduce a national care service progressively.”

Replacing triple lock with a system that ensures state pension rises with earnings over time, but never rises by less than inflation, makes a lot of sense. Good.
The idea this will pay for free social care any time soon, though, is for the birds. That will mean higher taxes.

Re #RAFFairford
1.Police can detain terrorist suspects for 14 days, they needed 1 day so it’s reasonable to assume they’re NOT terrorist suspects
2.If explosives were found, they would be charged, they weren’t, so we can assume there were none
3.Leave the police to do their job
