The Nintendo DS is 20 years old! To celebrate, I put together a retrospective to analyse how Nintendo’s strategy led to the DS’ success, changed Nintendo as a company and whether or not it could work with Switch 2 Check it out on @RollingStone

the language in the movie is so specific. AI subtitles are maybe the single least effective development; old school Google Translate subs were more insight. A desecration of art imo
Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s dialogue is so literary and written in such a precise way. he cares deeply about language, but people are now gonna watch All of a Sudden with AI subtitles, and it’s just sad to me. i’m okay with waiting much longer.

Does steam run php? Someone just hacked my steam account and played 16 hours of Balder's Gate 3 while I was working from home

Great news. The Studio Ghibli library is coming back into circulation on DVD/Blu-ray in the UK.
The @AllTheAnime booth has a few surprise announcements. First is confirmation that they will distribute Studio Ghibli titles in the UK from November as SteelBook, Blu-Ray & DVD sets. Second is GODZILLA related content will be coming to the UK. #MCMComicCon

REVIEW: VILLAGE IN THE SHADE is one of my favourite games of the year It works as a cosy farming sim, but introduces a splash of horror that makes us question what we sweep under the rug in polite society Check it out on @nintendolife

re: Ebert occasionally "missing" on a great movie, I think people forget that the point of criticizing art is not to be "correct," it's to engage with the work sincerely; a critic should be evaluated less on "correctness" and more the consistency/depth of their work

The way this country is right now, not considering a brown/black person is protecting them
It’s a little sad Dev Patel seemingly wasn’t even in consideration for Bond. MONKEY MAN felt like his audition for Bond the same way LAYER CAKE was for Daniel Craig.

Would you talk to him about Zelda
I’m wearing my Hylian Shield pin. A grave mistake. Tom Rhys Harries only wanted to talk about Zelda
