All season, one song followed him.
A plumber fell through his living room floor into another dimension and landed on Route 47, a highway where every TV channel is cursed. All he wanted was to get home to his wife.
He carried one song with him the whole way. He first sang it quietly, alone in a haunted forest, to someone who couldn’t hear him.
Every stop pushed him farther from home and closer to that song. A water park that transforms people. A psychic who answers before the phone rings. A stranger who gave up everything so he could keep going. A skunk Sunday and a glowing cupcake that helped unlock his true self.
Tonight he finally reaches the way home, and he has to sing it one more time. Not quietly anymore.
