Just posted Q3 earnings. We delivered our first-ever $100B quarter driven by double-digit growth across every major part of our business. (Five years ago, our quarterly revenue was at $50B🚀) Our full-stack approach to AI is driving real momentum and we’re shipping at speed.  Thank you to our employees and partners around the world for the terrific quarter!

Just got off the earnings call - great quarter and it was our (and my) 40th call as Alphabet. August will mark 10 years since we announced Alphabet. Been thinking about the incredible growth in our new businesses since then - Cloud, YouTube, Play, Subscriptions etc. To give a sense of progress, in 2015 all of Alphabet’s revenue added up to $75B. YouTube and Cloud alone ended 2024 at an annual run rate of $110B.

The customers I talk to aren't reaching out to AWS to ask "how to transform their businesses with GenAI." They ask a not insane version of that question--but they're increasingly asking it to Google and Microsoft instead. This is an existential threat to AWS as they see it.

Reflecting on @googlecloud Next 24, it’s clear that the “AI Moment” is reverberating across the market. @GoogleCloudTech is leveraging its search capabilities and AI to unlock value from unstructured data across businesses and tech functions. Will applications ever be the same?

At #GoogleCloudNext, you will here @googlecloud talk a lot about cost savings and #TCO compared to market alternatives. @esg_global has worked tirelessly validating those claims and found Google BigQuery customers have saved up to 54% on #data and #AI platform costs over 3 years.

Spent much of the week in #SanFrancisco, talking to #AI startups + seeing what hyperscalers like @googlecloud are doing with #GenerativeAI. Some of their plans are so transformative that if only 5% of it pans out, the world will become a very different + mostly better place. – at Virginia, USA

Great conversation hosted by ⁦⁦⁦#CarrieTharp from @Google⁩ about how customers are differentiating with #googlecloud. AI is allowing customer’s employees to develop new skills and grow. Younger employees especially are embracing the change. #googlecloudnext

Another #generativeAI differentiator stressed by @GoogleCloudTech at #GoogleCloudExecForum: “Our capabilities are generally available today” MyPOV: not in preview, like many @MSFT_Business / @OpenAI announcements
Next up at #GoogleCloudExecSummit, @ThomasOrTK is detailing multiple #GenerativeAI announcements made by @GoogleCloudTech in recent months. MyPOV, array of foundation models (including third party) is differentiator (from @MSFT_Business and @OpenAI ) for range of use cases.

So far impressed with the level of detail TK sharing in his talk. Without getting lost in the weeds, he's talking through key LLM concepts like transfer learning, RLHF, LoRA, synthetic data generation, and more. Digging into governance now. #GoogleCloudExecForum @googlecloud
