'When you open a chart the first thing you should do is - within the trading range - mark inefficiencies in price (fvgs) near a swing low or high. The safest approach is to assume all these are going to get filled at some point. Your job is to figure out in what order, and market structure is the tool that's gonna help you. This is pretty much the only thing I do. Of course there are some other things to keep in mind like patterns or liquidity (like equal highs or multiple untested highs).'
