As information expands and becomes ubiquitous, disinformation becomes equally overwhelming and pervasive. This is what pollutes our global information ecology. It has also made people skeptical of nearly everything, even what common sense, factual analysis, and our own intuition should make somewhat obvious. This is ultimately a problem of sensemaking in an era of mass propaganda, algorithmic control, and governments shanghaiing their populations.
Case in point, the recent Florida Learjet crash is being questioned all over social media as either a hoax or some other kind of conspiracy. But what I am asking is: does everything need to be a conspiracy? Can there not be accidents where normal people fuck up in spectacular fashion? Does everything need to be a cover-up? Better yet, IS everything a cover-up or false flag?
The current social model, which relies heavily on innate distrust and over-the-top skepticism, would suggest that everything is a lie perpetrated by governments, corporations, and the establishment.
I would argue that they are not wrong to question everything, but also that questioning everything is what governments, corporations, and the establishment want! They relish the idea that people will chase mirages and delude themselves into thinking everything is fake. It's through this type of self-deception that governments actually break people's capacity to think and create a population of veritable paranoid schizophrenics.
And indeed, a population of people with government-infused psychiatric conditions is not a threatening population. They are a population of people who could easily be rounded up and put into the psych-ward. The established elites would love that. We could call this type of mental illness a "kratogenically" derived psychosis. Krato means power, and genic means produced or originating from. In essence, people are suffering from a kind of institutional or "carceral psychosis" that stems from a poor-quality information ecology and the government's love of mass confusion.
So, in this environment of kratogenic psychosis, how can we calibrate our epistemic tools?
1) We must cultivate our reasoning capabilities. When we consume media, we should first and foremost use reason to unveil the truth. We should be able to simplify and leverage smart tools like Occam's Razor. Not everything has to be a mega-conspiracy that requires a perfectly fitted tin-foil hat. Reason and current knowledge should be enough to get fairly close to the truth. The simplest answer is probably closer to the truth (but not always). It's just good to learn not to overcomplicate every bit of information.
We should also always reason from our own first principles rather than relying on proxies for our knowledge. This helps us center our reasoning on our own skills rather than a random online midwit.
2) Understand the importance of primary sources. When you consume information, make sure you know where it originally comes from. It is also important to understand what biases, flaws, and blind spots the source contains. Bad journalists often use secondary or auxiliary sources. This is just a form of yellow journalism. A good rule of thumb is to assume media sources always have their own biases and to check primary sources yourself. If you can't access the primary sources, that can be good information in itself about the veracity of a given media soundbite.
3) Acknowledge that governments and certain entities want you to endlessly chase your tail. In other words, they want you to assume everything is a false flag, fake, or a conspiracy. In a way, this is information warfare. It generates hearsay and noise that distract from other issues. The more people who chase who-knows-what and handicap their own epistemological interior, the more they lose sight of any semblance of truth. This is why we must fully understand the first and second points. The consequences of assuming everything is fake are that we become a kind of epistemological nihilist who lacks the capacity to reason about base reality. Then they have a higher likelihood of descending into kratogenically induced psychosis.
I have more information to share, and plenty of writing to do on the subject. But sensemaking is one arena where all of us should work hard to clarify and expand...especially as we move into a world that is increasingly "deterritorialized" by combative electronic information flows that harbor their own agendas and seek to undermine sanity worldwide.
YOUR GRIND SHOULD NOT COST YOU YOUR HEALTH!
To every Web2 and Web3 founder, developer, trader, creator, entrepreneur and 9–5 professional: When was the last time you genuinely took a break?
Between building startups, chasing deadlines, monitoring charts, surviving market volatility, meeting targets and trying to stay relevant, we often forget the most important person in the equation: OURSELVES.
Stress is not a badge of honour. Burnout is not a sign of success. And sacrificing your mental and physical wellbeing should never be the price of ambition.
This #InternationalStressAwarenessDay, under the theme:
"Shaping the Future of Stress and Wellbeing: Rehumanising the Workplace"
I'm reminding you that:
📌 Your mental health matters.
📌 Take breaks from the screens.
📌 Don't let market volatility control your peace.
📌Build supportive communities, not just profitable networks.
📌 Prioritise sleep, exercise and meaningful human connections.
📌 Learn to disconnect without feeling guilty.
Whether you're building in Web2, Web3, AI, healthcare or trading the markets, remember:
You are a human being before you are a founder, trader, developer or employee.
Let's build technology, businesses and wealth without losing our humanity in the process.
Build boldly.
Work smart.
Rest intentionally.
Live well.
Building a healthier, more human centred digital future.

As part of our commitment to end sickle cell births in Nigeria the @Logos_network circle Gombe in collaboration with @Medicsinweb3 was at Kwami Community to raise awareness of the importance of genotype testing before marriage.
This Saturday 24th October 2026, we collected 50 blood specimens of young people who will be tested free to know their genotype status.
Great work that @Logos_network is doing with circles around the world.
Gombe circle are contributing to the eradication of sickle cell disease in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
If you are in Gombe State Nigeria you can join us as we go to our next community in November.
As part of our ongoing monthly Winnable Issue, the @Logos_network Gombe Circle in collaboration with @Medicsinweb3 will be visiting the Kwami community tomorrow to help 50 young people know their genotype status.
With Nigeria recording the highest number of sickle cell births in the world annually, we are contributing our quota to reducing the burden of sickle cell disease through the @Logos_network Circles’ Winnable Issues initiative.
One community at a time, one test at a time, and one informed decision at a time, we can make a difference.
On Sunday 20th September the @Logos_network Gombe circle was at ECWA URSHALIMA BAGADAZA GOMBE STATE for our first community free genotype testing campaign.
49 specimens were collected from different individuals who are all youths.
This is aimed to reduce the burden of sickle cell births in Nigeria.
Nigeria have the highest rate of sickle cell births in the world. This initiative will be carried out in 5 different communities in 5 months.
Let's do this together.
Nigeria carries one of the world's heaviest sickle-cell burdens.
An estimated 150,000 babies are born with sickle-cell disease in Nigeria every year, according to a longstanding WHO-cited estimate.
We believe community action starts with awareness + knowing your genotype.
For the next 3 months, @Logos_network CIRCLE GOMBE will take a genotype awareness and testing campaign to 5 communities across Gombe State.
🚀 We start here:
📍 ECWA Urshalima Bagadaza, Gombe
📅 Sunday, 20 September 2026
Time: 3pm
FREE GENOTYPE TESTING
HEALTH AWARENESS
COUNSELLING & GUIDANCE
In collaboration with MEDICSINWEB3 × PRIMEX Laboratory Consumables & Surgical Equipment.
One community. One conversation. One test at a time.
IS AFRICA TECHNOLOGY ORIENTATED?
Africa does not need more people who can simply use technology.
We need more people who can understand the problems around them and use technology to solve those problems.
That is why I believe the next generation of African builders should not choose between healthcare, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, biotechnology or entrepreneurship.
The most interesting opportunities will exist at the intersection of these fields.
Imagine using AI to strengthen disease surveillance.
Blockchain to improve health data integrity.
Cybersecurity to protect hospital systems.
Biotechnology to detect emerging biological threats.
And community-driven innovation to make all of this accessible beyond major cities.
That is the space I am interested in.
I want to spend the next few years exploring one question:
How do we use emerging technology to solve real problems in Africa?
Not hype.
Not buzzwords.
Not technology for technology's sake.
Real problems.
Real people.
Real impact.
If you're building at the intersection of technology, healthcare and African development, let's connect.
What problem are you currently trying to solve?

@Logos_network GOMBE STATE chapter monthly meeting for August today 29/08/2026
LOGOS GOMBE CIRCLE: FROM DISCUSSION TO COMMUNITY IMPACT
Today, the @Logos_network Gombe Circle came together for an important conversation: What real problem can we tackle as a Circle and create measurable impact in our community?
After a thoughtful discussion, we identified a critical issue that deserves our attention sickle cell disease and the need for genotype awareness and testing among young people.
Nigeria carries one of the world's largest burdens of sickle cell disease, with a significant number of children born with the condition every year.
For us, this is not just a statistic.
It represents families, children, relationships and lives that can be profoundly affected.
As a Circle, we have decided to take action.
Over the next three months, we will be visiting five communities in Gombe to:
1.Encourage and test young people to know their genotype status.
2. Promote the importance of genotype testing before marriage.
3. Educate youths about sickle cell disease and how genotype compatibility can help reduce the risk of having children affected by sickle cell disease.
4. Create conversations around responsible decision making, health awareness and informed relationships.
Our goal is simple:
No young person should enter marriage without knowing their genotype.
We believe that meaningful change does not always begin with massive projects. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation, a test, an informed decision and one community becoming more aware.
The Logos Gombe Circle is choosing to move from talking about problems to working on problems.
This is our winnable issue.
This is our commitment.
And over the next three months, we will take this conversation from the meeting room into our communities.
Know your genotype.
Understand your status.
Make informed decisions.
Protect the future generation.

I came in early today @Web3LagosCon to read all the sticky notes on the board! And I’m grateful for all we have been able to achieve this far!
Let’s make more memories today!
In few hours we will be meeting for the @Logos_network Gombe circle to continue discussing on our winnable issue's.
One of the things we will be discussing is helping young people form different communities know their genotype status.
Because Nigeria has the highest rate of sickle cell in the world, and at @logos Gombe circle we will be nominating communities we will be visiting over the next few weeks.
If you are in Gombe join us at 2pm today 29th August 2026 @Ubec model smart school Gombe.
Come and nominate a community as we contribute to the wellbeing, of the world starting, with our community.

Technology by itself doesn't change lives.
It only matters when it solves problems.
AI without impact is just another algorithm.
Blockchain without utility is just another database.
Innovation isn't about building what's possible.
It's about building what people actually need.
