I run ArcMuse as a one person creative studio, and to be honest it doesn't feel like one. I do the design, editing and motion myself, and a team of AI agents handles everything around it, the inquiries, the admin, organizing files, revision notes, even outreach. Last week I finished a full week of content in about 4 hours. After 16 years of editing, that still surprises me. I'm sharing how I build this in public on here. If you're a creator or solo founder, what's the one thing you'd hand off to an agent first?
Yesterday I posted that I wanted to connect with more AI builders, designers and motion people, and to be honest I did not expect almost 50 replies. What surprised me most is how many of you are building actual tools, launch film makers, UI reference libraries for agents, research tools, agent interfaces. I told a bunch of you I'd give your stuff a run, so this week is basically testing week for me.
If you had to pick one tool I should test first, what would it be?
Who else is building cool stuff on here? 👀 I run ArcMuse, my own AI creative studio in Miami, and work with AI agents every day. I want to connect if you're into:
- AI motion and animation
- motion and creative agencies
- AI video and image tools
- video editing and VFX
- AI agents
- AI automation and workflows
- tech and building
- creative technology
- startups and founders
This looks amazing. First off, I love that it's standalone, so I don't need another LLM subscription just to make motion with it. I spent 12 years in After Effects turning around motion for clients on crazy deadlines, so anything that automates that process is a step in the right direction.
To be honest though, it's not there yet for client work. Clients like a project and then have notes, usually small ones like extend this, tweak that ease, change the speed. Reprompting gives you a different video every time, and that control over the little details is still where the designer comes in.
Has anyone found a good way around that yet? teapawt.org/OpenDesignHQ/status/21…
Got our first ArcMuse mugs made and to be honest I didn't expect a mug to make it feel this real. It's the same thing I tell clients, your brand shows up in the small stuff people actually touch every day, not just the logo on your site. What's the first piece of merch you ever made for your business?
Looking to connect with more people on here 👀 If you're into:
- AI builders
- tech
- AI agents
- AI design
- design and UX/UI
- motion and animation
- video editing
- AI video and image tools
- automation and workflows
- creative technology
- startups and founders
- building products
let's connect! I'm Sam, a creative technologist in Miami, and I run ArcMuse AI with my team.
What are you working on right now?
A lot of founders and tech people on here have been asking me how ArcMuse uses AI, and whether AI is making the creative work. So here's the honest answer in one place.
We're designers first. My team and I have years of design, editing, and motion experience, and most of the creative work stays in human hands. To be honest, AI still can't match the touch you get from years of actually making things.
What was really slowing us down was everything around the work. The admin, the organizing, the inquiries, the revision notes. That's what our AI agents handle now, and we work alongside them every day. It frees up a lot more of our time for the ideas and the details.
Curious, would you use AI this way? Or are you leaning on it more for the creative side?
I work with animation all the time, for myself, for my kids, and for my clients, and this tool seems incredibly valuable to me since I can swap things immediately and try new ideas.
Have any of you tried this yet? And how many of you are using AI to help with your animation process? teapawt.org/runwayml/status/211581…
Over a year ago I made an AI intro video of myself exploring Figma updates for a local Figma conference. MiniMax and Runway, very early tech.
Someone suggested I remake it with the same script using today's tools and post them side by side. Should I? What should I use?
I kind of want to. Would you watch that?
Been testing agents for video editing. Tried Codex and Claude so far, Grokbot is next on the list.
Still leaving my computer on the whole time just to be safe 😅
Anyone actually editing with an agent day to day? What's your setup?
Wait, does this work with @bot ?!
AI agents just got their own office and it's actually wild
Skydive is now open to everyone
Here's how it works:
• Build a team of AI agents
• Watch them work in a 3D office
• Hand them tasks over Slack, email, iMessage or the web
• Claim your company's domain to put your office on the map
And they work for free this week
agree with this 100%
I've been managing design and video teams for about 6 years and most businesses I've worked with never needed award winning design. they needed something clean, on brand, and out the door this week
where I still see the gap is direction. AI can make it fast but someone still has to know what good enough actually looks like for that brand
so who's making that call on your team right now, you or the tool? teapawt.org/BrettFromDJ/status/211…
Pika H3 Flex is generating 15 sec clips with sound faster than realtime now. open weights too
to be honest the flashy demos are cool but what I care about is how fast I can iterate a client short before the deadline hits. this looks like it actually helps with that
what's the first thing you'd make with it? teapawt.org/pika_labs/status/21158…
Meet Pika H3 Flex, debuting today as the #1 open weight model on DesignArena’s t2v board.
It’s built for professional iteration, with exportable audio stems, resolutions up to 4k, and faster-than-realtime generation. It can produce a 15-second clip with soundtrack in as little as 7 seconds.
So, yeah. It’s kind of a flex 💅
Patrick Stewart's passing hit me hard. I've been a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan my whole life, ever since I'd watch it with my dad when I was just a few years old.
Picard shaped how I lead more than I realized. Whenever the crew was in trouble, he'd turn to his team and ask "Suggestions?" No ego, no pretending to have every answer. Just listening, and trusting the people around him to find the best way forward.
When I became a visual, video, and design manager 6 years ago, that was one of the first things I put into practice. I knew I didn't have all the answers, and I had an amazing team that thought outside the box and brought ideas I never would've come up with. I still lead that way today, with my human team and even my AI agents, then make the call.
I know that's the fictional side of the character, but I can't picture anyone else playing it with that much grace and presence. And that's before X-Men, Frasier, and everything else. Truly one of the greats!
Godspeed, Captain.
ok genie 4 is wild… type a world and then just walk around in it with sound and physics??
anyone else already thinking about film previs with this or is it just me 👀 teapawt.org/GoogleDeepMind/status/…
Next level unlocked lol. Now I've got my AI assistant watching what I do on X, my @bot conversations and in my day to day and turning it into content ideas every morning 😂 Basically my life is my content calendar now. Anyone else doing this?
