Thinking how AD was clearly the last elite defensive center on the Lakers, but also had the offensive burden of averaging 26 a night for the team to be great. Walker has none of those asks. He gets to devote his energy to defense and cleaning up at the rim like he did tonight.

Opening Night 2026! My 16th season with the Lakers. Started in 2001-02, so many great games…Robert Horry’s shot, NBA Championships, Lakers games in Europe and China, and Kobe’s final season in 2016. Now after some time away, I’m excited to be back! #Lakers #LGL
