So many questions and thoughts come out of looking at these two different provincial party election night bar menus. Lots of meaningful allegories, and sensible prices in one for non-alcoholic drinks. Thank you so much for pointing this out Alissa @GlobalBC

As we enter into wetter weather, please remember to drive relative to road conditions. This driver lost control in 6500 Stanley Park Drive and found themselves in the bushes. Luckily no injuries. #DriveSafe

If Toronto can do it, why can't we?
New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area. Slower speeds help reduce the risk of serious collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer. Learn more about the change: toronto.ca/LocalSpeed

Since 2016, London’s cycling network has grown fivefold, from 90 to 450 km. The result? 1.5 million daily cycle journeys—a 43% spike since 2019—twice as many bikes as cars on City of London streets during the day, and motor traffic in steady decline—having fallen 25% since 2019.

This is a draft map, but it shows who voted where for Mayor of the City of Vancouver in 2026. A final map will be issued later, but the patterns will likely be the same #vanpoli #vanre

Vancouver ABC party and Mayor Sim spent $2.5 million on a campaign to lose their majority and their mayor, only one candidate returned to council. Mayor elect Mr Fry spent a few thousand dollars on media. Negative campaigns don’t work. Vancouver residents are smarter than that.

So agree. The city's local area profiles broken down by census area provides a lot of valuable information about how neighbourhoods are changing, what services are needed, including recreation and transit. It is a guide to the future of each area.
A data request to the Vancouver Mayor + Council Elect: Please publish the Census Local Area (neighbourhood) profiles for the 2021 + forthcoming 2026 Census 2021 was the first year since 1971, they were not openly published Like this: opendata.vancouver.ca/explor… #vanpoli #VanRE
