Implying that Schottenheimer is even close to Ben Johnson when he’s not even fit to lick the shavings from Johnson’s broken pencil sharpener

Mark me solidly in the "throw [much more] because EPA go brrrr" category.
I think it's the No. 1 thing where we lose the forest through the trees in football: NFL run-pass split is sub-optimal and it stares us in the face!
About halfway through the season so we are now into QB Rankings 2.0
- Mahomes is still Mahomes ignore the armchair analysts
- Herbert pisses me off
- Drake and Caleb are getting a boost for being younger and therefore getting a bit of that upward trajectory boost
Watching Mestemaker draft tape and this is not a 2027 qb to me. I do see the vision long term, a really elastic arm and nice tendencies but him not starting in high school shows looking at pre vs post snap reads/his upper-lower mechanics
Sellers/Arch to me is the 27 convo
Positives are the arm, the willingness to move and the tendencies to attack NFL windows. Another big one is he’s improved as the games have stacked up but to me in a good system he should go back
I know we did this with Moore but this time I think it’s for the betterment

As fans, we often romanticize and rank QBs based on who can get it done when it matters most but QBs can not (normally) catch the ball.
So which receivers are the best at bringing the ball down when it matters most?
TLDR: No one has been more right than Parker Washington fans

However targets are also earned, good receivers get more targets. So I used a combined score with a 50/50 split of target share and earned score. As when testing that was the split that didn't overly weight targets but still was predictive of "critical value"
