A binary definition of #HeartFailure using an #LVEF50 threshold. Avoids confusion. Simplifies care. Tackles Rx inertia. We marked #HeartFailureAwarenessWeek with a series of activities in Essex at @MSEHospitals & @EssexCTC and @HighChelmer Chelmsford.
We rounded it all off with a symposium at Orsett Hall from our key note speaker Professor Andrew Clark @MrTheProf who reminded us to centre the patient in our decision making . We also heard very inspiring patient stories that reminded us of why we do what we do.
