Lawyers are expensive per hour and essential for serious business matters; AI isn't displacing them and arguably makes them even more valuable. But AI lets regular people understand every term in a lease, small transaction, employment agreement, etc.

The future of the token economy is the most complicated security and fintech problem the world has ever seen. we’re at 1% of where AI spend will be in our lifetimes with upcoming wide stratification on speed, capabilities and cost.

how does one make good sounding slop tracks over copyrighted material? I desperately need the lyrics to vietnow replaced with zach de la rocha screaming “taste is your only moat” over and over again

the problem solving part of my brain adores using a wagon to haul groceries from the car but it is equal parts an affront to my masculinity and need to prove myself as one of who can hold many things at once

This weeks Torah portion is about Noah and the thing to note is that had he used Rust he could have put way more animals on the ark because of its low-level primitives and borrow checker.

Make it easy to test and it will get tested more.

One of the ways i use @bot to hill-climb perf on Origin is decidedly simple and anyone can do the same thing - Every morning I have an "ImpactChecker" bot that looks at the last day of PRs merged and how they've moved the needle - ImpactChecker reads logs, feature flags and deployment metadata to ensure things have rolled out successfully - We deploy Origin forge services at least 30 times a day so there is always something new Additionally, we've built a TLA+ model that another @bot continuously updates and refines to find subtle distributed system and file system bugs. s/o to @jacobgold for that one.

California is so beautiful sometimes I just want to make up errands so I can spend more time driving around listening to music in my car.

you gotta time your funding announcement to specific goals - the next raise - a hiring spree and the attention and blessing a prestigious investor gets you in the eyes of candidates - as part of an outbound marketing strat announcing soon as the wire lands is naivety or vanity
Idk who needs to hear this, but funding announcements rarely occur when someone gets funded. Ironically it's more likely that they occur when someone is looking to get funded

You Can See Everything cements Nathan Fielder’s status as one of the greatest auteurs of our time. It’s a complex film which leaves you to make your own judgements. Towards the end of the film the perspective shifts to Nathan’s own voyeurism and weakness. Loved all 3 hours.

it’s absolutely scary that GTA6 comes out on my birthday, I’ve been avoiding rekindling a video game habit for years. All I want for the day is 3 uninterrupted hours with a PS5 that is not mine. Then I can get back to work.

If the weed industry collapses in America we can get all those guys focused on growing vegetables in space instead. rapid growth, high yield cultivars optimized for hydroponics and LED lighting. LFG. we need tomatoes on the moon!

this is an incredible opportunity for folks who care about great government. agents mean you can rapidly address legacy software. and there is no legacy greater to improve than the federal government of this incredible country, the USA. plus you get to hang out with @imjaredz
Announcing American Forge. A six-month residency for hardcore engineers to join the US government. Created in partnership @ndstudio x @cognition

don't bet against @elonmusk
Replying to @MKBHD
I’m not. Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.

Anyone who has ever been part of an engineering team knows how impressive this is. And it has nothing to do with the physics or the manufacturing "Product managers" and "Agile philosophy" has caused every eng planning discussion to be continual questions on scope. How do we de-scope? How do we break this up? What is the MVP? The de-scoped new Tesla Roadster would have been extremely successful and the best car on the market. But this is the Elon effect - he is a visionary. Someone at some point said "No. Let's just build the really awesome thing. I don't care about scope"
Complete Tesla Roadster FLYING demo. INSANE!!!
