Whenever she sees him, it's basically, "To hell with everything else!" Kissing him is much more important 🤣💋 Jiang Zao is clear-headed, ambitious, and knows exactly what she wants. Her self-interest is essentially her way of protecting herself. She disguises herself as the physics teacher sponsoring Le Yan to get his core patent, which she sees as her ticket to climbing the social ladder and escaping her lower-class background. Meanwhile, Le Yan is a genius who's been playing innocent all along. He saw through her disguise from the very beginning but willingly played along with her schemes. No matter who she is, he's always her most devoted follower. Revenge? Not a chance. All he wants is to hold his 姐姐 close and comfort her. I can understand Jiang Zao's ambition, struggles, and pain, so it's lovely to see how Le Yan's genuine devotion gradually melts her defenses. Overall, there's not much angst between them, and Le Yan is wholeheartedly devoted to Jiang Zao. The only truly awful character is the second male lead, that scumbag! What really made me furious was seeing Jiang Zao get played by her scumbag boss in the end. He's SO frustrating! The ending also feels a little rushed too.
