Here is a visual image of why, in 2017, I focused on #PacificOcean analysis as most salient for understanding climate dynamics, rather than the deluge of papers produced due to the funding and biases of scientists (I.e. models upon models).

So they were the least wrong of the #climatologists. Because they focused on the Pacific.
Relying on consensus amongst a volume of analysis suits half-engaged (or mediocre) minds and bureaucrats. But salience identification requires pure dedication to reality.
