Opening line of my New York City rom com: "I want to be held, held like the dispatcher momentarily holds the 4 train." – at Manhattan, NY
I have no idea how the Giants will do week to week. No idea. But this is already my favorite Giants team since the Manning years. It’s like watching a craps table each week. Playoffs, no playoffs — who cares! I want more weird games.
Oscar Wilde once wrote, "When the gods wish to punish us they answer our prayers." Also, Connecticut and San Diego State are in the same region in the NCAA tournament.
Opened my 10K account for 2023 this morning. I can’t say I’m exactly match fit, so 56:21 suits me just fine. Plus, I had a killer running soundtrack. instagram.com/p/CnHkSGcuBmJT…

I have still have no idea if the Giants are a good team, but this season there has been a preponderance of plays, defensive stops, interceptions that good teams also do. So, I don't know... somebody knock on the jury room door for me.

"We ought to take pride in the fact that, despite our financial and economic anxieties, we are still able to do the most civilised thing in the world—put the welfare of the sick in front of every other consideration." Aneurin Bevan, born November 15, 1897, in Tredegar, Wales.
I will never tire of the societal revolution that is seeing Giants receivers open in the secondary. I really thought that life was always going to be a sideline route and throwing into triple coverage.
The Giants are 5-1 and are mostly enjoyable to watch. I’m happy, but the radar is searching for other shoes.
I’ve never seen the Aurora Borealis or observed bioluminescence, but I was just at Penn Station to witness the Great Confluence of Comic Con attendees and Mets fans.
Guilty of targeting? The ref said “guilty?” “The tackle, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is guilty of a false start.”
As I was walking by, the guy leading the outdoor yoga in front of Brooklyn Museum asked the crowd “Are you ready to go on a journey with me?” I thought he said “..go to Germany…” Deutschland yoga alles!
The band also played "Radio Free Europe" that night. I think I jumped up so high I could see the Boston skyline. It was a lovely summer night, if memory serves.

"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;"
-W.B. Yeats, N.Y. Giants fan
Gyles Brandreth a few moments ago on the BBC mentioned something about Elizabeth II that for those of us who love history is astonishing-- her first prime minister, Winston Churchill was born in 1874, her last, Liz Truss, was born in 1975.
