A productive day at the office for Andy Irving, whose goal and assist helped Sparta Prague to a 5-1 win over Slovácko.
Irving (26) now has six goal involvements in all competitions this season.
Sparta currently sit 2nd in the Czech top flight, six points behind rivals Slavia.
Scott McTominay is back with a bang. 💥
A brace in Napoli’s 3-3 draw with Roma in Serie A makes it four goals in a week for the Scot, following his double against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It’s great to see him back at his best. 🏴

A night that Scotland’s Bournemouth duo will never forget! 🍒
Both Ben Gannon-Doak and Ryan Christie played the full 90 plus minutes for the Cherries in a memorable 3-0 win over Serie A giants AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League!
One for the memory books! 👏🏻

Ben Gannon-Doak delivers an electric performance in a 3-0 win for Bournemouth over Milan in the Europa League. ⚡️
Won 5 fouls against a Milan defence who struggled to contain him all night.
Only turns 21 next month.
Scotland fans need to be patient with him, so much potential.
Terrible news for Harry Milne.
Thought he was one of the best players in the country last season and not far away from Scotland recognition.
Hope he makes a swift recovery.
BREAKING: Harry Milne has picked up a suspected ACL injury during training last night. It is feared his season could be over.

In recent years Scotland have been short of wide options in attack.
The same can’t be said now for me:
• John McGinn
• Ben Gannon-Doak
• Josh McPake
• Findlay Curtis
• Tommy Conway
• Calvin Miller
• Danny Armstrong
One of several reasons why I don’t think Pocognoli’s preferred 3-4-2-1 is an ideal fit for our squad.
Middlesbrough’s Tommy Conway says he is relishing his new role as a left winger under the management of Kim Hellberg:
“I’m now learning every day to be a left winger, and I feel like I’m getting better and better every week.”
Conway (24), who has received eight senior caps for Scotland, has spent the majority of his career to date as a central striker.

Scott McTominay and John McGinn produce Player of the Match performances in the Champions League on back-to-back nights.
A reminder of the quality within this Scotland squad. 🏴🌟
Scott McTominay told @SkySport Italia after scoring twice for Napoli against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League that he is nearing full fitness following his recent heart procedure:
“I still have to make progress and continue my athletic work to get into top shape.
“I think I’m now very close to my peak.
“I’ve embarked on a journey to regain my fitness and hope to maintain it for the rest of my career.”
Ex-Scotland midfielder Don Hutchison, who currently commentates on Serie A matches, has reaffirmed his belief that Sassuolo’s Kieron Bowie should be the national team’s new permanent number nine:
“When I look at his profile as a number nine, he’s better than any striker Scotland have at the minute.
“If I’m the Scotland manager, I’m looking at him as my number nine and giving him a run of games.
“He deserves that and I think he’s good enough.”

Former Scotland midfielder Don Hutchison has backed Sassuolo’s Kieron Bowie to lead the line for a new-look national team under Sébastien Pocognoli:
“For me [Bowie], he looks like Scotland’s best number nine by a distance.
“He has size, he has presence, he can hold the ball up and he can score goals.
“He is also doing it in Serie A, which is a high standard.”
